​We celebrated mid-winter, NAIDOC, June Festival (Festa Junina), Country, community and togetherness and rebuilt networks through song, dance, story telling and a genuine Welcome to Country and blessing. ​

 

This celebration was hosted by the local Aboriginal Peoples of the Central Coast and surrounds and is a welcome to the new light within each of us. Symbolized by the longer days and shorter nights we headed from the solstice towards summer.
